Border Security/Illegal Immigration: outlaw sanctuary cities; support using Texas National Guard to protect our borders; support Voter ID legislation; support proof of citizenship for voter registration
Taxes: repeal or radically revise the gross receipts tax.
Oppose a State Income Tax
Education: support public schools; improve education opportunities for all children; ensure teachers continue to receive health care benefits; prioritize education dollars to educate children instead of sustaining the education bureaucracy located in Austin.
Appraisal Reform: support appraisal caps; support revenue caps; require taxpayer-elected appraisal board members; freeze property taxes for seniors
Loser Pays: support legislation that would require the loser pays in frivolous law suits.
Reduce Government Spending: limit government spending to no more than the rate of inflation plus growth of legal population allowing hard working Texans to keep more of their money.
Health Care: lower health care cost through market-driven solutions and make sure our senior citizens have the health care they need and deserve.
