Dear East Texas Voter,

I am a candidate for Texas State Representative for House District 1 and will represent you if I am elected in November of this year. I am a lifelong resident of Texarkana and have owned many small businesses over the years. Currently I am a partner at ELLCO Distribution Corporation, an industrial supply company. I think that is important because it shows I have real world experiences, I have to follow a budget, I have to meet a payroll and I have to pay the bills – just like you.

As I begin my campaign I would like to find out what your thoughts and concerns are; they are important to me. Ours is supposed to be a government of the people, for the people. With your participation, that is exactly the kind of government we will have.
